The filing device has a semicircular profile (2) with a central groove (3) into which the peripheral edge of the data or record disc is inserted. The profile (2) has a pair of arms (6,7) projecting radially outwards at either side. One of the arms (6) has an open bearing cooperating with a pivot pin (8) to allow the profile (2) to rotate about the latter when pressure is applied to the projecting end of this arm (6), the other arm (7) resting on a stop (12) in the rest position.
