PURPOSE:To eliminate the influence of absorption by determining the absorber distribution in the projecting direction in attention from the sectional shape of a bed in a slice position read out of a memory means and said projecting direction and correcting the projection data relating to the projecting direction. CONSTITUTION:The position of the bed 2 is detected 11 at every time of photographing and the position signal is fed into a memory 12. The data on the sectional shape in the position of the slice plane which is stored in the memory 12 and is to be photographed this time is read out. On the other hand, a camera angle detector 14 detects the angle of a gamma camera 3 from a driving mechanism in a gantry 5 or the like and feeds the angle signal to an arithmetic circuit 13. Since the sectional shape of the bed and the projecting direction are inputted to the circuit 13, the circuit can calculate the absorber distribution of the bed 2 projected in said direction. The bed absorption correction is, therefore, made by a corrector 15 to eliminate the influence of the bed absorption; thereafter, the data is sent to a picture reconstituting device 16.
