PURPOSE:To carry out the fuel control and the mixing control of raw material coal, by determining the average residence time of coal in a coke dry quenching equipmeht, sampling the coke for each discharging group under specific conditions to examine the combustion conditions. CONSTITUTION:The average residence time in a coke dry quenching equipment is determined, and quenched coke is sampled in a timing for sampling the coke in each discharging group in the carbonization chamber in a period from the 3-4 group after starting the discharge of the group to the 3-4 group before the completion of the discharge on the basis of the average residence time. The control of oven temperature and mixing is carried out for each discharging group on the basis of the analytical results of the coke to perform the quality control of the dry quenched coke in a coke oven.
