The power supply A of a subscriber station TS is connected to a transmitting and receiving device SE. The operating voltage is monitored by a voltage comparator K by comparison with the voltage of a reference voltage source UR. When the operating voltage falls below a specific threshold value, an undervoltage signal is output to the transmitting and receiving device SE. As a result, a call registration key GT is inhibited via logic combination elements G. An existing call connection is maintained, however. A dialling device WV inhibits the outputting of the undervoltage signal via logic combination elements G during a dialling operation. The transmitting and receiving device SE is connected, in the time division multiplex method, to a central station ZS via a voice channel and a signalling channel for the transmission of the calls, the call registration, the battery undervoltage and the voting. The central station ZS has an undervoltage indication UA identifying each subscriber station TS. Consequently, a drained power supply A of a subscriber station TS can be exchanged in a targeted manner by the maintenance personnel. <IMAGE> |
