The pantograph comprises a base (1) connected with the tractive unit, a movable frame, comprising a crossbar (6) orthogonal to the overhead line and a system of rods (4, 5) pivotally connected between the base (1) and the crossbar (6), a structure supporting sliding electrical contact means of the type comprising two contact bows (11) which are substantially parallel to each other and orthogonal to the line, and a frame lifting system (9, 9a, 3e) for bringing and keeping said electrical contact means in contact with the line. The structure supporting sliding electrical contact means comprises elastic means (27), adapted to force the two contact bows (11) against the line independently of each other and perpendicularly to the line, and a pair of articulated arm systems (12, 21) which link the contact bows (11) with the crossbar (6). |
