For wiring up and controlling the insertion of the fuel assemblies and control rods into the core of a reactor, particularly a boiling-water reactor, or into a storage facility, a holding linkage (10) with an extendable arm (12) is located on a tube (5) of the telescoping mast (1); an underwater video camera (13) is attached to this.
