PURPOSE:To obtain a processor with which an RI distribution of a specified varying density level is obtainable even if a manual adjustment is not made by subtracting the contents of addresses, by each one, in a collecting memory corresponding to the oldest position information when an auxiliary memory outputs said information. CONSTITUTION:A scintillation camera 1 outputs an analog signal including the positions and number information of the radiations; for example, gamma rays, radiated from RI in a specimen; i.e., position information on X, Y and an unblank signal. These sets of the information are successively stored into the corresponding addresses of the collecting memory 4. The auxiliary memory 5 outputs the oldest position information when each set of the position information is shifted at every successive storage of the information on X, Y therein and when the memory capacity is exceeded. A collection controller 3 stores the position information on X, Y inputted from the camera 1 simultaneously into the memories 4, 5 and subtracts the contents of the addresses, by each one, in the memory 4 corresponding to the oldest position information when the memory 5 outputs said information. The data quantity in the memory 4 after the overflow of the memory 5 is thereby kept the same as the data capacity in the memory 5 regardless of the data to be subsequently added. |
