PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution to miniaturize a device by preventing the first - third switching means from being simultaneously connected to the same storage means. CONSTITUTION:Switching circuits 405F and 405R successively selectively switch PCM signals, which are read out from memories 404A-404C after error detection and correction in an error detection and correction code generating circuit 503, and apply them to interpolating circuits 407F and 407R. For example, switching circuits 405F and 405R are switched to be successively connected to memories A, B, and C in periods T1-T3 respectively. Switching circuits 402, 405F, and 405R are connected to memories 404A-404C respectively in the same period, for example, the period T1. That is, such timing switching operation is performed that switching circuits are connected to memories different from one another. Consequently, switching circuits 402, 405F, and 405R are not simultaneously connected to the same memory. Thus, the constitution of the device is simplified to miniaturize the device. |
