A charging device for a blast furnace, in which the outlet openings of an upper (4) and a lower (8) bowls, located consecutively along the path of the charge, are covered by shutters (6, 9) provided with a conical side surface and mounted with the possibility of reciprocal movements. The shutter (9) covering the lower bowl (8) is shaped as a hollow truncated cone. Above the shutter (9) is placed a distributing organ (10) shaped as a cone facing the shutter (9) by its base the surface area of which is no smaller than that of the base of the truncated cone of the shutter (9). The distributing organ (10) is mounted with the possibility of reciprocal movements. |
