In an up-and-over or suspended door provided especially as a garage door, warehouse door or the like, possessing a drive device which controls the opening and closing movement of the door leaf by means of guide devices and which engages on the door leaf directly or via connecting elements in the region of the upper door-leaf edge, provision is made for inserting between the door leaf and drive device or its connecting elements engaging on the door leaf, an intermediate device which converts the initial closing movement of the drive device via associated intermediate elements into a lowering movement of the lower end of the door leaf near the door frame and which simultaneously or with a delay, according to a predetermined lowering, activates the drive device for the closing movement of the door leaf. |
