PURPOSE:To reduce the influence of cameron effect by supplying a field switching circuit with a video signal for the left eye and a video signal for the right eye corresponding to the same field period at such timing that they shift from each other by one field section. CONSTITUTION:The color video signals for the left eye and right eye are supplied synchronously to input terminals 7 and 8 of a stereophonic video signal processor 3. An output means 20 processes digitally the right-eye video signal between the left-eye and right-eye video signals corresponding to the same field period and writes it in a RAM 15 temporarily, and the signal is read out of this RAM 10 at specific timing, so that the signal is outputted while delayed one field period behind the left-eye video signal. The field switching circuit 10 switches the right-eye video signal from the means 20 and the left-eye video signal from the terminal 7 alternately at intervals of one field and outputs them as a stereoscopic image. Consequently, the influence of cameron effect is reduced. |
