Prepns. (1) consists of 0.5-10% surfactant (II) and a substance (III), which makes the mixt. greasy when it is sunjected to repeated strong shear, in an amt. of 2-25% w.r.t. (I), depending on the fineness, morphology and intended use of (I). (II) is added to the (I) filter slurry and dispersed uniformly. The filter press cake is isolated if necessary and dried, then treated with a liquid, fluid or fusible (III), subjected to intensive shear and then granulated if necessary. Dust measuring appts. consists of a dust forming vessel (2), turned by a drive motor (1) and contg. chicanes, which simulate the conveying procedure, a pump (5) for producing an air stream to pick up the dust fractions, which are carried out of the dust generator (2) and deposited on a filter (4) with defined porosity; a coarse separator (3) between the filter (4) and the dust generator (2) to retain relatively coarse particles; and a lock with air flow meter (6). |
