<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a handle lock device for motorcycle which uses electric waves and is easily operated, by installing an engagement member which is arranged in a frame so as to be shiftable to an engagement position or releasing position and is shifted to a release position by the driving signal of a lock control circuit. CONSTITUTION:When a request switch 25 is turned ON, electric waves are transmitted from a receiver 51, and a card entry device 50 which receives electric waves generates the radio signal including a prescribed code signal, and the transmitted electric waves are received by the receiver 51, and communication is carried out. The receiver 51 is installed contiguously to a handle lock device 10 on a motorcycle. The received signal is compared with the code signal memorized in a memory circuit 53 by a comparison circuit 52, and when both signals accord, a solenoid 44 is operated through a timer 54. Since the timer 54 generates an output for a certain time, also the solenoid 44 is excited for a certain time. Accordingly, an engaging member shifts from an engagement position for suppressing the revolution of an outside rotor member to a disengagement position, and a knob can be revolved.</p> |
