The invention relates to an apparatus having a membrane module which is arranged in a housing and is provided with a centrally penetrating inner duct for separating off one or more substances from a mixture, the mixture being fed to the interior of the housing having the membrane module, the substances to be separated off being collected and conducted away via connections to the inner duct and the mixture depleted in the substances being conducted off again from the housing. The object underlying the invention is to design e.g. the apparatus in such a way that with it the separation efficiency of each membrane module can be improved and controlled and at the same time pressure drops can be reduced and energy can be saved. The solution is characterised in that a condensation unit is arranged in the inner duct.
