Drive device with overload protection in the drive for the sowing members of a distributor machine, especially seed spacing drill, in which the drive device is arranged in the lower link of the connecting linkage between the supporting frame and the seed drill, the drive device having gearwheels mounted on rockers, and the gearwheels coming out of engagement in the event of a special load moment against the overload protection. In order to provide an operationally reliable drive with overload protection, provision is made for designing the overload protection (36) as shearing protection (37), the shearing protection (37) being arranged between at least one rocker (28) under the lower link (5).
