摘要 PURPOSE:To check the adequacy of a compressed code such as a G4MR code of the CCITT recommendation by comparing the number of change points of binary image data with the number of change points of two-dimensional compressively encoded data. CONSTITUTION:When MR encoding corresponding to one scan is completed, a clock system control part 5 outputs a one-scan encoding end signal. The signal 15 is inputted to a scan state control part 6, an MR code change point accumulation part 7, a binary image change point accumulation part 8, and a change point matching part 9. Consequently, the control part 6 recognizes the MR coding which is prescribed is finished and the accumulation part 7 and accumulation part 8 stop accumulating operation. The matching part 9 compares the accumulated value of the accumulation part 7 with the accumulated value of the accumulation part 8 to judge that the NR encoding is abnormal when they are noncoincidence or judge that the MR encoding is performed normally and output a change point number matching result signal 19 when they are coincidence. Consequently, the control part 6 controls whether or not the MR encoding is abnormal.
