The subject of the present invention is an assembly for using the power of the wind, characterised in that it consists: of a static element formed of a tower (1) made of reinforced concrete, and of a moving element (2) formed of a set of rotating vertical elements (1), the concrete tower serving as a guide and support, these elements (1) having metal structure, equally distributed, and each one supporting a metal sail (7) pivoting about a vertical spindle, the orientation of which is controlled by a motor (9) from a control circuit connected to an anemometer, the said sail (1) being supported by small rollers resting on the very thick steel plate of the moving metal framework (4), which is supported by two lorry wheels (5). Each vertical element is guided against the concrete tower by wheels (6) arranged radially in a horizontal position bearing on the outer part of the tower (1). <IMAGE>
