PURPOSE:To provide a rotary leveler which does not leave any leveling mark on a coil material by disposing a pair of right and left discs formed alternately with many crests and troughs above and below to form a pair of rotating bodies, inserting work rolls in the crests facing each other and holding the rolls. CONSTITUTION:A rotary leveler 2 consists of a pair of upper and lower rotating bodies 5, 6 and the bodies 5, 6 are constituted of a pair of right and left discs 9, 10 having the waveformed outside circumferences formed alternately with many crests 7 and troughs 8 at prescribed intervals. Work rolls 11 are spanned and set respectively rotatably between the opposed crests 7 of both discs 9, 10 and revolving shafts 15, 16 are inserted in the centers of both discs 9, 10 and are supported by a leveler frame 12 via bearings 13, 14. Then the work rolls 11 of the bodies 5, 6 mesh with each other like a gear and even if the material C is kept stopped, the slow rotation of the bodies 5, 6 is possible and no level marks are made on the coil material C. |
