<p>This collet for workpieces is fixed with respect to the axis Z. It has two conical surfaces (2) on the inside, one male and the other female. With the aid of a male or female cone (3) which is pushed against one or other of the conical surfaces (2) of the collet, the arms (1) are spaced apart or brought closer to each other. The clamping can therefore take place from inside to outside and vice versa. The collet is made from soft steel, which makes it possible to shape easily the end of the arms in order to give them the shape of the workpiece.
