<p>The system comprises so-called memory identification cards (10) and readers. The cards are provided with parallel electrical contacts. Each reader comprises a device (24) for establishing electrical connections with the contacts. The contacts (20) are arranged at the bottom of parallel grooves cut into a large face of the card starting from one of the segments (18) of the latter and the reader comprises flexible elastic strips (32) made of a conducting material, whose rest shape clears a path for inserting the card parallel to the grooves as far as a specified positioning of the card in the reader, the one and the other having support means which cooperate to cause the relative movement towards one another of the contact (20) and of the strips (32), transversely to the insertion path, until the contacts and the strips are pressed against one another at the end of card insertion. <IMAGE></p> |
