PURPOSE:To effectively use the energy by introducing high temp. furnace gas generating from a smelting reduction furnace to a boiler and using to driving source for a blower and a powdery ore dryer by dividing the generated steam to recover effectively the sensible heat of exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION:The high temp. furnace gas generating from the smelting reduction furnace 1 is introduced to the boiler 4 from exhaust gas tube 3 and treated by a dust collector 5 as low temp. gas by heat exchanging. Steam piping 6 for steam generating in the boiler 4 is divided and one side is supplied to the blower 7 as driving source for sending hot blast to the smelting reduction furnace. The other side is supplied to the powdery ore dryer 8 as heat source for the powdery ore drying. By this mechanism, the energy in the exhaust gas is effectively recovered. |
