In the invention, oil film is easily formed on the contact faces of the male and female members in the hinges without the use of an oiler. A vis (4) has an elastic plastic resin tube (7) fitted onto the upper part (6) of the vis haivng numerous cavities (9) and is placed in a hot oil tank at 50≦̸C for the cavities to store oil in them. The processed vis (4) is then fitted in the hing holes in such a way that the elastic plastic part is pressed into the cavities to push out the stored oil downward to the hinge contact faces for their oiling.
