PURPOSE:To attain high density recording by projecting a laser beam for information recording with a shorten interval than the diameter of the laser beam and forming a bit of information recorded in a recording layer to be smaller than the diameter of the laser beam. CONSTITUTION:The recording bit with the laser beam consists of a central high reflectance part 1 and a low reflectance part 3. For example, it the laser light beam whose diameter is 1mum is superposed and written in an arrow direction with dislocating by 0.5mum, the recording bit consisting of the high reflectance part 1 and the low reflection factor part 3 occurs with superposing one another but the reflectance part 1 where the low reflectance part 3 of a adjacent bit is superposed changes and turns into the low reflectance part 3 and the reflectance and the crystal state of the low reflectance part 3 becomes equal to those of a non-cast part. Therefore only crescent-shaped high reflection factor parts 1 appear on the recording layer and only bit 5 in the end becomes a circle. Since the recording is executed by using smaller bit string than the diameter of the laser beam, the density of recording is increased. |
