PURPOSE:To obtain a material useful as a belt for power transmission, etc., by pretreating a fibrous material, subjecting the material to aftertreatment with a linear saturated polyester resin, bonding the material to a thermoplastic polyester elastomer, a material to be bonded, under pressure by heating. CONSTITUTION:A fibrous material is immersed in a pretreating solution consisting of an adhesive composition, soaked in a treating solution of a linear saturated polyester resin having solid content concentration adjusted to 3-30wt% and heat-treated. Then the material and a thermoplastic polyester elastomer, a material to be bonded, are heated and bonded so that bonding of fibrous material and thermoplastic polyester is carried out. |
