PURPOSE:To easily and accurately input coordinates of a desired position by forming a coordinate input device into a transparent sheet which is freely openably and closably held between an original platen and an original cover and providing an engaging means on the face brought into contact with the rear face of the original cover. CONSTITUTION:An original cover 3 and a transparent sheet-shaped coordinate input device 4 are held freely openably from and closably to an original platen 2 with a start point as the center. A magnet 3c (part indicated by a line alternating a long dash and double short dashes) is provided on the peripheral part of the rear face of the original cover 3, namely, the face brought into contact with the transparent sheet-shaped coordinate input device 4 and is engaged with a frame body 4a of the transparent sheet-shaped coordinate input device 4. Consequently, when the original cover 3 is opened after closed once, the transparent sheet-shaped coordinate input device 4 is engaged with the rear face of the original cover 3 and the surface of an original appears. Thus, the surface of the original is depressed with a finger, a pointing pen, or the like from above the transparent sheet-shaped coordinate input device 4 to easily and accurately input desired coordinates. |
