PURPOSE:To correct easily the size in the fitting part between the tuyere hardware of a blast furnace body and a tuyere holder by subjecting the required part of said fitting part to building-up by a melt spraying method in such a way as to avoid generation of deformation, then polishing. CONSTITUTION:If the fitting part 4 between the holder 2 of a tuyere 5 formed of copper and the tuyere hardware 3 of a tuyere shell 1 in the tuyere 5 of a blast furnace body is deformed to an elliptical shape (b) and requires repair while said part should be intrinsically a circular shape (a), only the required part (c) is subjected to building-up without being deformed by a melt spraying method which operates on a small quantity of heat input. The polishing part (d) is then polished and is thus dimensionally corrected. |
