PURPOSE:To permit restriction of occurrence of cracks to a base pipe, an oxygen electrode and an electrolyte material, by providing inter-connectors at symmetrical positions in a circumferential direction of the oxygen electrode, respectively. CONSTITUTION:There are provided a process for securing an oxygen electrode on a base pipe, a process for disposing spray guns at confronting positions on a circumference of the base pipe, respectively and securing inter-connectors at symmetrical positions in a circumferential direction of the oxygen electrode by the spray guns, respectively, a process for securing an electrolyte material to a portion of the inter-connectors and the oxygen electrode, a process for securing a fuel electrode on the electrolyte material, and a process for securing holding members composed of a material same as the fuel electrode on the inter-connectors. A structure is such that inter-connectors 23a, 23b are disposed at symmetrical positions in the circumferential direction of the oxygen electrode 22 (diametrically opposite position), respectively so that the inter-connectors 23a, 23b can be secured alternately. Therefore, stress applied to a porous ceramic tube 21, the oxygen electrode 22 and the electrolyte material is reduced and occurrence of cracks can be restricted. |
