PURPOSE:To render a shape of a light permeation region more desirable and provide a manufacturing process having a high junction strength between a package and a transparent body by melting a glass tablet that is put on a formation region of an optical permeating aperture of a cap and fixing it to the cap so that no air leaks from the cap and also causing the light permeation region to turn into a parallel flat plate by forming the transparent body when it is still in a soft state. CONSTITUTION:After neading materials such as glass frit and binders and so on together, the materials are pressed in the form of disk by press to form a glass tablet 16 that has a diameter slightly smaller than the inside diameter of a cap 2. After placing the cap 2 on a flat table in a state of turning its cap the inside out, the tablet 16 is inserted in the cap and is molten by heating. The molten glass spreads all over the light permeating aperture 13 to have a relatively flat plane at upper and lower faces of a transparent body 14 that is still in a molten state. Subsequently, once ins treatment stops heating and starts curing, the periphery of the transparent body 14 adheres firmly to the edge part of the light permeating aperture 13 of the cap 2 so that no air leaks around the aperture. Furthermore, if a center part, that is the light permeating region where a laser light is permeable, is formed by a pair of forming dies 17 and 18, while the transparent body 14 does not cure and is in a soft state, such a region makes it possible to form a parallel flat plate part 15 where the surface and rear face are flat. |
