PURPOSE:To obtain a reflecting board which provides wider effective lighting region for a light source application and can be contained in a predetermined space by a method wherein the reflecting surfaces near the end parts of the reflecting board have more gentle slopes than the reflecting surfaces near the center part of the reflecting board. CONSTITUTION:The reflecting surfaces 21, 21,... of a plurality of transmitting holes which are recessed upward are provided in a reflecting board 11. The respective reflecting surfaces 21, 21,... correspond to LED pellets 101, 101,... on a board. The slope angles of the reflecting surfaces near the center part of the reflecting board 11 are the same as the slope angle (theta) of the conventional constitution and, for instance 65 deg.. However, the slope angles (theta1) of the several reflecting surfaces near the ends are, for instance, 50 deg. and, the closer the reflecting surfaces to the ends, the more gentle the slopes. As the illuminance distributions at both the ends of an LED array range over regions where LED pellets do not exist, a required lighting region length can be obtained by providing the LED array in ad LED array providing part with the limited length. Moreover, the lighting region length can be adjusted optionally by varying the slope angles of the reflecting surfaces near the ends of the LED array from those near the center part of the array. |
