<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a strong connecting bus detector which has simple structure and has high reliability by boring a hole in the connecting bar superposition part of a bus to be connected and pressing one end of an insulating rod against a connecting bar through the hole by a spring. CONSTITUTION:The tip of the insulating rod 6 penetrates the hole 1a of the superposition part of the connecting bar 3 of the bus 1 to be connected which is supported by an insulator 2 and the other end is supported slidably on an insulating support member 8 fixed through an insulator 7. The member 8 is provided with the spring 9 to press the rod 6 against a bar 3 through the hole 1a as shown by an arrow. Then, an actuator (AE) 11 which operates a limit switch (LS) 10 fitted to a fixed part is fitted to the other end of the rod 6. Consequently, while the bar 3 is fitted to the bus 1, the rod 6 is pressed down against the spring 9 and the AE 11 turns on the LS 10, but when the bar 3 is removed, the rod 6 is pushed up by the spring 9 to elevate the AE 11 as the tip projects from the hole 1a, thereby turning off the LS 10. Thus, the LS is turned on and off to detect whether or not the bar 3 is present.</p> |
