摘要 PURPOSE:To enhance abrasion resistance without impairing strong preventive action of a silicone resin against forming a spent resin toner by coating the surface of each core particle with a silicone resin containing titanium black as an additive treated on the surface with a silicone oil or a silane coupling agent. CONSTITUTION:The surface of each core particle is surface coated with a silicone resin containing titanium black as an additive treated on the surface with a silicone oil or a silane coupling agent. The film thickness of the coating layer is, preferably, 0.1-20mum, and if the thickness is too thick or too thin, it becomes unfavorable, thus permitting an electrostatic latent image developing carrier superior in abrasion resistance to be obtained without impairing strong preventive action of the silicon resin against forming a spent toner at all, the mixed coating solution to be stabilized, fluctuation of characteristics to be lessened, deterioration due to long use, and image quality to be stabilized.
