PURPOSE:To provide a hot water feeder which ensures safety and ease of use, by a method wherein a combustion amount is decided from an inflow water temperature, an inflow water amount, and an outflow water temperature, and a freeze prevention device is actuated by means of an inflow water temperature. CONSTITUTION:An inflow water amount is detected by a water detecting device 1, an inflow water temperature and an outflow temperature are detected by an inflow hot water temperature detector 3, the detecting results are converted into an electric signal by means of an outflow hot water temperature detecting device 4, and the respective output signals are inputted to a control device 11. The control device 11 comprises a combustion amount deciding means 13, deciding a combustion amount of a burner 6 by means of an input signal from an external input device 12, and input signal from a water detecting device 1, an inflow water temperature detecting device 3, and an outflow hot water detecting device 4, a combustion amount control means 14, driving a fan 7 for air for combustion and a gas proportioning valve 9, and a freeze prevention device control means 15, driving a freeze prevention device 10 by means of an input signal from the inflow water temperature detecting device 3. The freeze prevention device 10 is connected in series to a relay switch 31 and an a.c. source 23, which are situated to the control device 11, and with a relay 22 turned ON, the freeze prevention device 10 is energized to prevent freezing of a water passage. |
