PURPOSE:To form a non-convection layer and heat accumulating layer without developing a disturbance at the bottom section by placing beforehand solid salt lumps or capsules into which salt water of a high concentration is poured at the bottom of a pond and supplying an amount of salt or salt water as required to the heat accumulating layer. CONSTITUTION:In a capsule 7 solid salt lumps 11 are connected via a gate valve 15 to a stirring chamber 18 by means of a injection pump 12, and the stirring chamber 18 is driven through a cable 8 for power transmission. After the salt lumps have been fully stirred in the stirring chamber 18, its outlet and inlet valves 13 and 14 are opened and the stirring pump is rotated slowly. For example, based on a detection output of a concentration sensor high concentration salt water is supplied (jutted out) to a heat accumulating layer 1 until the concentration reaches a specified value. In other words when making salt water, firstly the outlet and inlet valves 13 and 14 are closed and the gate valve is closed and the stirring pump 17 is rotated at a high speed to make salt water. When the salt water is transported, the outlet and inlet valves are opened and a transportation pump 17 is rotated slowly and the salt water in the stirring chamber 18 is supplied to a heat accumulating layer 1 in such a fashion that the heat accumulating layer is not disturbed. |
