PURPOSE:To exactly execute copying to copying paper of the same size by only placing originals of various sizes on a feed paper part, by setting automatically the magnification from an original size and a copying paper size, and copying an original image of the original onto the copying paper. CONSTITUTION:When an original is set, and a desired copying paper size is selected and the button concerned is pushed, signals of each size of the original and the copying paper are sent to a comparing device from an original size signal generating device A and a copying paper size signal generating device B. In this comparing device, both sides are compared, and in case both the sizes are the same, an exposure process is executed and copying is executed in a state that a variable power projecting device remains fixed to a stationary position. In case both size signals do not coincide, in accordance with an output of the comparing device corresponding to its difference, a magnification setting control unit outputs a driving command for driving a lens and converting a mirror speed. That is to say, a magnification changing device for enlarging or reducing the original size is driven, the projecting device is moved, and an image exposure conforming to a desired copying paper size is executed onto a photosensitive drum. |
