PURPOSE:To provide high-performance fine particle cemented carbide alloy dot wire having high damage resistance by limiting the mean grain size of a hard layer to a specified range and further applying a monolayer of a single chemical material selected from among specified metal carbides, nitrides or carbides, or a multilayer of more than two chemical materials on the surface of the hard layer. CONSTITUTION:Cemented carbide alloys are composed of a hard layer containing 50-90wt.% of tungsten carbide and 0.1-3.0wt.% of at least one or more than two kinds of chemical materials selected from among vanadium carbide, chromium carbide or molybdenum, and the remaining combined layer containing one or more than two kinds of ferrous metals. Then the average grain size of the hard layer is 0.3-1.0mum, and a monolayer of a single chemical material or a multilayer of more than two chemical materials selected from among metal carbides, nitrides or carbonitrides of 4a, 4a and 6a group metals of a periodic layer table is applied in thicknesses of 0.1-10mum. Thus dot wire having high abrasion and damage resistance can be obtained. |
