摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the development of full clogging in a sliding nozzle by controlling opening degree of a ladle nozzle till starting casting operation after reaching to an intermediate value of the aimed weight for molten steel weight in a tundish, so as to the aimed weight increasing rate. CONSTITUTION:The molten steel 1 is poured into the tundish 4 from the ladle 2 by opening the sliding nozzle 3 all the day. When the molten steel weight in the tundish 4 is reached to the intermediate value of the aimed weight, the opening adjustment of sliding nozzle 3 is changed to an automatic control. The opening degree of sliding nozzle 3 is gradually reduced, and when the increasing rate of molten steel weight in the tundish is coincided with the aimed weight increasing rate, the opening degree control for the nozzle 3 is held as it is. When the molten steel in the tundish 4 becomes to full, the casting into a mold 5 from the tundish 4 is started, and after that, the control of molten surface level in the tundish is executed by the usual PID control. In this way, the development of full clogging in the sliding nozzle is prevented.
