PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic sensitive body free from trailing of potential and most of residual potential by using a disazo pigment as the electric charge generating material of a charge generating layer, and a specified compound as the charge transfer material of a charge transfer layer. CONSTITUTION:The charge generating layer contains at least one of the disazo pigments represented by formula (I) and the charge transfer layer contains at least one of the compounds represented by formula (II). In these formulae, A is a group selected from formulae A, and each of R9-R14 is H, lower alkyl, or chlorine, thus permitting the obtained photosensitive body to be good in chargeability, high in responsivity to photoirradiation and sensitivity, small in the depenency of potential decay on an electric field, and liable to decay due to light in the case of comparatively low potential by use of the combination of both compounds. |
