METHOD FOR GLASS WARE POLISHING

This method finds application for chemical polishing of glass products, kitchenware in particular, and is used in the glass-making industry. It eliminates the use of toxic hydrofluoric acid. Polishing is carried out by dipping the products in a solution containing, in mass percent: 52-70 sulphuric acid, a double salt - ammonium hydrogen fluoride - ammonium fluoride, 2.5-5 fluorine ions and 25-45.0 water.
