PURPOSE:To simply measure the mixing concn. of chloride with high accuracy, by reciprocally changing the potential level of an acting electrode within a definite range at a proper sweeping speed and measuring the max. peak current value generated between electrodes during this time. CONSTITUTION:A sensor mechanism 10 is equipped with the acting electrode 1 composed of a copper wire having a diameter of about 0.5mm arranged to the central part thereof, an opposed electrode 4 and a reference electrode 3 becoming the reference of potential. The electrodes 1, 3, 4 are respectively arranged, for example, in a glass pipe body 2 having a diameter of 20mm and fixed by quick-drying Araldite 5 in such a state that the end surface thereof are exposed on the same plane. Further, a temp. electrode 7 is mounted in the pipe body 2 so as to effectively correct a measured value. Further, for the sake of sweeping applying voltage, a potential sweeping circuit having a potentiostat mounted therein is used. Then, the potential level of the electrode 1 is reciprocally changed in chloride within a definite range at a proper sweeping speed and the max. peak value generated between the electrodes during this time is measured to make it possible to simply measure the concn. of chloride with high accuracy. |
