<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to assemble automatically necessary functional components by mounting the necessary functional components first on a sub- frame and then mounting partition walls on peripheral parts of an engine frame to form an engine compartment. CONSTITUTION:When a power unit 32 is transferred from above a sub-frame 15, a movable mounting bracket 34 while sliding on a side surface of a guide plate 26 is guided onto a front vehicle width member 16, and a locating pin 35 fits into a locating hole 22 to finish positioning. Under this condition, necessary components to be incorporated and arranged in an engine compartment 13 are mounted. After finishing the mounting of the necessary components, a hood ridge panel 39 integrated with a side member 42 is mounted from overhead. After that, a radiator support panel, etc. are mounted in succession to finish an engine compartment 14.</p> |
