<p>PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of a radar image by providing a signal synthesizing means for synthesizing a prescribed level adjusting signal, with respect to a video signal outputted from a logarithmic amplifier. CONSTITUTION:An intermediate frequency signal which has been obtained by following up a movement of a radar is inputted to a pre-amplifier 10. To this pre-amplifier 10, an STC signal being a level adjusting signal, which has been formed by a sensitivity time control (STC) circuit is inputted, and an amplification is executed so that the saturation of an output is reduced. The amplified signal is amplified by a logarithmic amplifier 12 of the next stage and converted to a video signal, and inputted to a multiplier 14 being a signal synthesizing means. On the other hand, to the multiplier 14, an STC/GAIN signal being a level adjusting signal, to which the STC signal and a gain controlling GAIN signal have been superposed is applied. Subsequently, the product of the video signal and the STC/GAIN signal is executed, and a more ideal STC processing is performed. Based on the video signal which has been brought to a signal processing, a more accurate and stabler radar image is generated by an indicator.</p> |
