PURPOSE:To enable the efficient cleansing of titration plates without damaging them by a method wherein the titration plates with the top and back surfaces exposed outside are inserted into a cage-shaped rack and are cleansed and taken out together with the rack. CONSTITUTION:Four titration plates 4 with the top and back surfaces exposed outside are inserted into a cage-shaped rack 1, and ten-odd racks with the plates held therein are put in a rack case inside a preliminary cleansing bath (a) to be cleansed preliminarily. Next, with the hook made to engage with a chain 2, each rack 1 is transferred onto an endless body 50 in a transfer path 5. This endless body 50 is reciprocated in a plurality of times, while a cleanser spray 52, a cleansing water spray 51 and an air spray 53 operate for final cleansing. After the final cleansing is performed in this way, the plates 4 are put in a container (c) to be dried and then are taken out, together with the rack 1. According to this method, the plates 4 are not damaged since they do not touch implements directly, and cleansing operations can be performed efficiently. |
