摘要 PURPOSE:To improve CSS (contact start stop) resistance and durability performance under high-speed continuous sliding by disposing a sputtered MoS2 film and protective film laminated with a P-contg. or S-contg. lubricating agent on a thin ferromagnetic metallic film consisting of Co-Mo-P-S. CONSTITUTION:The sputtered MoS2 film 3 and the P-contg. or S-contg. lubricating agent as the protective film 4 are disposed on the thin ferromagnetic metallic film 2 consisting of Co-Mo-P-S. The P-contg. or S-contg. lubricating agent contg. fine MoS2 particles is otherwise disposed thereon as the protective film 4. The extreme-pressure lubricity of the thin ferromagnetic metallic film 2 itself is thereby improved. Since the lubricating agent sticks securely to the film 2, a sustaining characteristic is obtd. The MoS2 film or fine MoS2 particles relieve and absorb the extreme pressure even if large impact is instantaneously exerted to the film; therefore, not only the CSS performance is improved but also the satisfactory durability is exhibited even in the using state when the head slides at all times.
