摘要 PURPOSE:To effectively use a fast line of 48kbps, or 56kbps, keeping a modulo 8 system, by transmitting another packet group during the waiting time of transmission at the time of transmitting a packet group by the modulo 8 system. CONSTITUTION:A node (a) on a transmission side transmits seven continuous packet groups 1-1 to a node (b) on a reception side by the modulo 8 system based on a procedure of HDLC. The packet 1 of the packet group 1-1 arrives at the node (b) on the reception side taking a time C. A similar operation is performed for the packet 2-7. The node (b) on the reception side, when receiving the packet 1-1, transmits a reception response signal to the node (a) on the transmission side. Therefore, in the modulo 8 system, the node (a) on the transmission side receives the reception response signal, and after that, the transmission of the packet group 1-2 that is the packet following to the packet group 1-1, is started, therefore, the waiting time B for the transmission is generated. At this time, relation A<B is generated when a line connecting the node (a) to the node (b) is the fast line of 48kbps, etc., thereby, another packet group 2-1 can be transmitted from the node (a) on the transmission side to the node (b) on the reception side during the waiting time B leaving a margin of sufficient time.
