Dietetic milk food product for infants, comprising a protein fraction, a carbohydrate fraction, a lipid fraction and mineral salts. This milk food product has a medium-chain triglyceride MCT content of between 2 and 14 % by weight approximately, the MCTs present in the said food product being partly naturally contained in the lipid fraction and partly contributed by a supplementary addition of MCT. Application to the feeding of normal unweaned infants in order to offer them a food product whose digestibility is comparable to that of human milk. <IMAGE>
