PURPOSE:To enable a remote operation from a driver's seat, by providing a manual engage/disengage mechanism and an automatic engage/disengage mechanism, which is made of a hydraulic cylinder equipped with a V-shaped link and a guide link. CONSTITUTION:To disengage a locking plunger 7 from an engaging groove by a hydraulic cylinder 49 through a remote operation from a driver's seat in order to release a kingpin from coupling hooks, the cylinder is slightly elongated so that a V-shaped link 42 is turned above a shaft 53 through a guide link 44 and a coupling link 43 and pushes a locking guide 18. Consequently, the stopper link 20 of a locking means 19 is turned to make a hole 28 open. At the same time, a manual operating lever 41 is guided by a slender-section hole 11 loosely fitted with a pin 10 and by the guide portion 8 of the locking plunger 7, as the lever is moved in a direction 14 against a spring 13, so that an engaging pin 15 is disengaged from an engaging part. |
