This invention relates to an interface circuit for data transmission. The peripheral device (floppy disk drvier) and output device (printer) are provided in the main personal computer. The interface circuit which includes decoder(1), address buffer (4), timing control circuit (3), line driver (5) and universal asynchronous receiver transmitter (UART) (2) is set up to be connected in a single line between main personal computer and several sub-personal computers so as to transmit or receive the data. Also, the interface circuit checks whether the data exists in a line or not and if the line is empty, the data is transmitted.
