Device for controlling the simultaneous supply of pneumatic grippers on spinning or twisting machines with pressure medium

A spinning or twisting machine is provided with pneumatic grippers for drawing off and slipping on bobbins and tubes. For simultaneous pressure loading, the grippers are connected to a pressure generator via a common pressure line and a controllable reducing valve contained therein. A pressure transmitter controlling the reducing valve is connected to the pressure line. The pressure generated by the pressure generator is higher than the pressure necessary for operating the pneumatic grippers. During switch-on and until the operating pressure is reached, the grippers are loaded with the pressure exceeding the operating pressure. When the operating pressure is reached, the reducing valve changes over into a position which keeps the operating pressure approximately constant.
