PURPOSE:To prevent a photosensitive body from breaking down by irradiating part of a photosensitive body with irradiation light from a destaticizing lamp through a SELFOC lens array for original image formation and erasing a latent image formed on the photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:An original P is irradiated with the irradiation light from a light source together with reflected light from a reflecting mirror 3 and reflected light from the original P passes through a half-mirror 4 and the SLA (SELFOC lens array) 5 to form its original image on the rotating photosensitive body 6. The destaticizing lamp 8 consists of an LED lamp and its irradiation light passes through the tip aperture part 9a of a destaticizing lamp case 9 and is reflected by the half-mirror 4 to illuminate the photosensitive body 6 through the SLA. The half-mirror 4 transmits the reflected light from the original P, but reflects the majority of the light from the electrostatic discharging lamp 9 to illuminate the photosensitive body 6 through the SLA. Consequently, the destaticizing lamp need not be provided nearby the photosensitive body and contacts neither the destaticizing lamp nor its case when attached or detached to eliminate the flawing of the photosensitive body. |
