PURPOSE:To improve accuracy of an automatic analysis especially of biochemical analysis, etc., by providing a square tube type vessel, an agitation air supply pump, an agitation air injection pipe obliquely cut at its top end, a connection tube connecting the injection pipe with the pump, and a positioning means. CONSTITUTION:A material to be examined and a reagent are individually dispensed in a reaction vessel 10 to make a reaction liquid 30, and then, by the operation of the positioning means, the injection pipe 12 is eccentrically positioned near the side wall with a distance (e) from the center line of the reaction vessel 10, and the top end 32 of the pipe is situated near the bottom surface. And, by the operation of the pump, agitation air is injected from the obliquely cut top end 32 through the tube. The agitation air ascends along a slanting direction making bubbles, and then continues to ascend vertically and bursts at the upper part of the reaction liquid 30 to discharge to the outside of the system. At this time, an ascending stream accompanied by the ascending bubbles and a descending stream released from the bubbles are formed in the reaction liquid, and the reaction liquid is sufficiently agitated. |
